“The solutions that are needed are ones that will benefit all of the people. When I look at what the government is doing, the big plan that is being proposed right now, that is destructive, that is not the kind of government that I want to see, that’s not the kind of world that I want to live in. I want a world where people benefit from society, that’s what we’re here to do.” – Governor Scott Walker, R- Wisconsin

Governor Scott Walker spoke with “The Real Story” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck about the radical environmentalist agenda while defending Scott Pruitt.

Have Gov. Walker’s hard-line environmental stand held back the GOP in elections?

EXCLUSIVE: Gov. Scott Walker is dropping out of the U.S. Senate race

Walker explained he is no longer running for Senate because he is focusing on reelection as Wisconsin’s governor. He believes the job of U.S. Senator is not for him but will keep up his fight for the environment.

Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wisconsin, said the timing of Walker’s decision is curious considering she’s the only statewide elected Democrat in Wisconsin today.

The governor said it’s time for the U.S. Senate to move on from Chris Cuomo’s outrageous and embarrassing questions to John Cornyn, R-Texas, who was on a domestic terrorist flight simulator.

The timing of Governor Walker’s resignation is noteworthy considering he also is serving out the remainder of a term he didn’t win.

Walker confirmed the departure of Margarita Perez to the new position of Commerce Secretary.

The governor pointed out, that after 9-11 the U.S. economy rebounded and that this type of movement towards sustainability also could be used to stem a crisis stemming from the same European Union member nations that would not even lend a hand to stranded Europeans whose beaches are filled with dead fish.
